Employment in New Zealand

For those with a skill set that may be on the New Zealand Long Term or Short Term Skilled Shortages list, we offer a service that helps you gain employment.

.

There is a catch-22 for employment in New Zealand. First, you may not likely gain a job interview if you do not first have the "right to work" in New Zealand. The catch is that part of the process to gaining the right to work may involve in some cases, an offer of employment. Hence the "catch".

.

We have found a way to bridge this gap by coordinating your work visa application with the offer of employment. This then frees you up to seek employment and satisfy potential employers at the same time.

.

While New Zealand currently has an unemployment rate of around 6.5% compared to the US rate of close to 10% (official rate) we are a country of only 4.5 million people and suffer from skill shortages for certain fields of employment.

.

As an example, one of our clients, who had a background in agriculture, was able to secure 4 job interviews on his first day due to his skill set and demand from the market.

.

If you have a solid background and working skill in a particular area, contact us and we will be able to appraise you on the degree to which that skill is in demand. email us at  info@yieldqwest.co.nz
